- Brave New Worlds:Online Learning and Emerging Technologies, Elizabeth Murphy, St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, 1997. This suggests that different "courses" might use different hypertext environments.
- Psychology with Sociology, William Poffenberger, Wayne State University. A modular, psychology hypertext. Contains User Guide, Directory, Overview of Course Materials, Hypertext Table of Contents, Maps, and people resources. See, for texample the memory module, and the cognitive module. Missing is something like a "student contributions" system that could add more examples, links, papers, reports, projects, etc.
- Improving Student Learning Using Learning Technologies, Janet Macdonald, Open University, October 2001. This paper appears as part of an announdement for the Oxford Center for Staff and Learning Development 2001 program, itself a use of hypertext for learning.
- Using learning technology to support student study skills, Jen Harvey & Helen Watt. Contains a good list of requisite skills and how to develop them.
